Chatmyer doesn’t show agent availability to visitors, but it gives you powerful real-time insights into visitor presence and message status — including sent, delivered, and seen indicators.
🔒 Agent Availability: Private by Design
Chatmyer never shows agent availability status (online, offline, or away) on the widget or to website visitors.
This is intentional — to give teams full flexibility without creating expectations based on availability.
Even inside the dashboard, Chatmyer does not show whether agents are online or offline.
Chatmyer does detect and display visitor presence in real time — but only to your support team inside the dashboard.
You can see if a visitor is currently online and active on your website.
This helps agents prioritize who to respond to first or know if someone has left the session.
For every message exchanged between an agent and a visitor, Chatmyer shows:
Sent : Message has been successfully sent from agent
Delivered : Message has reached on visitor’s browser
Seen: Visitor has opened or viewed the message
These statuses update in real time and help agents know whether to wait, follow up, or resend.
