Integrate Chatmyer with Your Shopify Store
Integrating Chatmyer with your Shopify store takes only a few minutes and requires no coding expertise. All you need to do is add a simple script to your theme’s <head> section. Once added, the Chatmyer widget will automatically appear on your store, ready to engage visitors and support customers in real time.
Let’s walk through the integration process:
🔹 Step 1: Copy Your Unique Chatmyer Script

Log in to your Chatmyer Dashboard.

From the left-hand menu, go to Widget Settings.

Locate your integration script.
Click Copy to copy the script
(Do not modify the script — it contains a unique key tied to your account)
🔹 Step 2: Access Your Shopify Theme

Log in to your Shopify Admin.

In the left-hand sidebar, click on Sales Channels > Online Store.

Under the Themes section, find the theme you want to edit.

Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to the Customize button.

Select Edit Code from the dropdown.
🔹 Step 3: Paste the Script in the <head> Section

In the code editor, open the file named theme.liquid — it’s located in the Layout folder.

Scroll through the file to find the opening <head> tag.

Paste the Chatmyer script right before the closing <head> tag like this.

That’s it — Chatmyer is now live on your Shopify store!
You can visit your website and refresh the page to see the widget in action. From there, head back to your Chatmyer dashboard to customize the widget’s appearance, colors, modules, and messages to match your brand.
