Learn how long Chatmyer retains your chat history, what affects its availability, and how we handle data deletion in case of account cancellation or deactivation.


 Active Subscription


If your account has an active subscription, Chatmyer will retain all your conversation history for up to 1 year from the time each conversation occurred.


  • You and your team can search, view, and refer to previous conversations directly from the dashboard.

  • Customers can also access their own chat history if they return using the same email and browser session (unless cleared).


 Account Cancellation or Deactivation


If you cancel your subscription or deactivate your account:


  • Your conversation history will be retained for 30 days.

  • After this period, all associated data (chat logs, messages, reviews, metadata) will be permanently deleted from our system.


🔔 Pre-Deletion Notification


  • You will receive a notification 7 days before your data is scheduled for deletion.

  • This gives you time to reactivate your subscription or export your data if needed.




🔒 Data Security and Privacy


Chatmyer ensures that all chat data is:


  • Encrypted at rest and in transit

  • Only accessible to authorized agents and admins

  • Never sold or shared with third parties
